I voted for Obama because I thought he was the smarter guy, that he’d make a better president than McCain. And so far, I’ve got exactly the guy I thought I’d get. In some ways, he’s exceeded my expectations. Pretty simple. My expectations were reasonable.

All the talk of Obama as the new FDR was right in one respect. FDR also didn’t fix the terrible economy he inherited. Not after 4 years, not after 8. The War fixed it.

And this is true despite the fact that FDR, with 80% Dem majorities, got a lot more stimulus-type legislation passed.
