A lot of the objections to ACORN are racist. A lot of the objections are because they get out the vote of mainly minority— and Democratic— voters.

Whether they’re opposed to ACORN because they’re getting out the Democratic vote or the minority vote, it has a racist effect; they’re against an organization that helps register minorities to vote.

It seems you are saying that opposing the the get-out-the-vote operations is racist because it impacts mostly minorities. If that’s what you’re saying, then that’s the sort of off-the-wall racism accusations that Matrix is complaining about.
