All the talk of Obama as the new FDR was right in one respect. FDR also didn’t fix the terrible economy he inherited. Not after 4 years, not after 8. The War fixed it.

And this is true despite the fact that FDR, with 80% Dem majorities, got a lot more stimulus-type legislation passed.

This is getting funnier by the moment. Now we are going to downsize Obama’s inability to get anything accomplished by comparing him to other well like and respected politicians who didn’t get things right.

Just like Windupbird, let’s downsize the expectations “In some ways, he’s exceeded my expectations. Pretty simple. My expectations were reasonable.”

If we keep this up, Obama will exceed all our expectations by leaps and bounds… er… by a hops, skips and jumps…. er… a quiet walk…
