Lovely piece bashing Keillor’s column in ChaliceChick.

I’ve pretty much ignored Keillor ever since his marriage fell apart and he insisted that everyone in the world was obligated to wallow in his misery. That was about 25 years ago, I think.

I see I haven’t missed much in the interim, except that he’s become even more bitter and self-absorbed, a feat which would have struck me as impossible until glancing at his piece in Salon.

He reminds me a lot of George Carlin, someone else who used to be funny and then became epically not.

I will now return to my decades-long blissful ignorance.
