Exactly where was he when he tried to ignite his g-string? Also, I don’t recall if the air carrier was a US based one of foriegn. He wasn’t taken custody by a lilitary entity, so I would have to know the other answers prior to reaching a conclusion military tribunal or civilian court. Due to what / where/ when / who I’m leaning civilian

He was on a Northwest flight and was taken into custody by US law enforcement on the ground in Detroit. He attempted to detonate as they were approaching Detroit.

I would think civilian as well, but much of the right-wing blogosphere went into cardiac arrest over the very idea, much to my confusion and disgust.
