From the point of view of geopolitical reality, Crimea is possibly the toughest nut to crack. Sadly, that’s one where Ukraine is likely gonna have to take the loss, as painful as that is. Maybe a Russian government not led by Putin and his gang might have a more reasonable position on the matter.

As for those so-called “people’s republics” in the Donetsk Basin? LOL, no, fuck that. That’s Ukraine, end of story. If those folks so badly want to go live in Mother Russia, then they can fucking move there.

I was 100% on the “Just give Crimea to Russia” bandwagon before this. They should have done that in the 90s but that whole “end of the cold war” thing was botched by everyone involved.

Now, as far as I’m concerned the Russian Federation has lost any legitimate claims to anything. They fucked around, and now it’s time to find out.

“иди на хуй” is the only thing they should get.
