I’ll pass that recommendation along, and see if anything sticks. One of the problems has been that my grandma is aware of her situation and sometimes expresses an understanding that she should be in an elder care type of apartment, but whenever my aunt takes her to look such a place, she recoils like you’re throwing cobras in her face. Such is the disease.

Fortunately I live next door to her, I have no wife or kids, and I can keep an eye on her.

Might be worth it to look into a care-giver for a couple of hours each day as a transition. If her rent is low-enough it might be cheaper than moving her.
