The MN state fair has quite a lot of food that’s actually good. The problem is that it just has quite a lot of food, period, which is 1) problematic for dieting and 2) leaves room for a lot of not-so-good food, as well.

You cannot take the word ‘diet’ with you onto the MN State Fairgrounds. My favorite is the Scottish Egg - a hardboiled egg wrapped in sausage and crumbs, deep fried and served with horseradish sauce. Also the food building cinammon rolls slathered in cream cheese frosting. SO many favorites at the MN State Fair.

The fair is for ‘recovering from’, not for dieting during.
