You cannot take the word ‘diet’ with you onto the MN State Fairgrounds. My favorite is the Scottish Egg - a hardboiled egg wrapped in sausage and crumbs, deep fried and served with horseradish sauce. Also the food building cinammon rolls slathered in cream cheese frosting. SO many favorites at the MN State Fair.

The fair is for ‘recovering from’, not for dieting during.

Yeah, I know. Last year was my first trip whilst dieting. I basically didn’t eat at all for the rest of the weekend, either before or after. It worked out pretty well. Me, I’m pretty simple; poutine, pork chop on a stick, deep fried cheese curds, and some kind of dessert.
