That’s interesting… it was my understanding that N. Korea would certainly take Seoul with its ground forces, and chase us a fair ways down the penninsula before we could stop them. I mean we’d likely win in the longterm (depending on China of course), but in the short-term it would be a massacre.

Their army has gone downhill. They might still be able to take Seoul but that would be chancy, given that the quality of South Korea’s army has gone up a decent bit.
