What is MINSY?

Hi ping. MINSY stands for Mare Island Naval Shipyard, in Vallejo California. A number of 637 class attack subs were built there, including Hawkbill, Pintado, and Drum. I had the pleasure of being a plankowner of Pintado, and spent over two years there back in the late 60’s - early 70’s.
