Well, since “monkey” is a pretty well tread racial slur that part doesn’t surprise me so much as the fact that it has apparently been used enough that the moderation team felt they had to totally put the kibosh on it.

Actually, I think what happens is that it triggers a warning to a moderator instead of blocking the word outright, because I’ve seen all those racial slurs posted outright at Fox Nation many times, including the n word.
