Life happens to people. You work hard all your life, you save, and then some catastrophe comes along, an illness, you lose your job, your business goes under, and you’re broke. Have to sell it all and dip into the savings. It got ramped up after 2003-2004, but it’s not a new phenomena. It’s called Life.

Yep, I was technically a millionaire on paper for a year or two when my stereo store was booming. Than Circuit City came to town, and a year later, Best Buy. A bit after that, I had to file for bankruptcy for both the business and personally. Now I’m living on my military and SS income, IRA and ebay business.
