All good points although, Gitmo does harken to a fundamental American belief in fair trials. For abortion I really don’t think any sitting President really wants to deal with it and would do what ever they could to prevent a bill coming across their desk. The real worry is whole the sitting president appoints to the courts because that is where the real threat to abortion rights will come from.

What’s the difference between a vaginal probe law or a no-funding-to-Planned Parenthood law or a redefinition of when a pregnancy starts law (that one is Arizona) and a real threat to abortion rights?
