I was in Merced in 1980 when the Livermore quake hit. Woke me up at, like, 6 in the morning. The Wente winery was located there. It picked up several 6,000 gallon tanks of Fume and Grigio and dropped them, rupturing the tanks.

I grew up in Yountville…We are such wine snobs…*wink*
