A question for current or former Michael Savage fans and listeners:

Does anyone else out there think that Savage used to be interesting but has become boring, irrelevant and totally self-absorbed lately? This question isn’t directed to people who already disliked him, but to people who used to listen regularly but have pretty much stopped. Every time I turn on his show these days, he is yammering on about being banned in England. That was interesting when it first happened, but it’s been weeks. Yesterday I tuned in expecting some incisive commentary on Iran. He was talking about cooking paella … and being banned in England. Yawn!

That felt like the final straw.

Lately? He’s been that way for years. He’s bipolar I think. He is only entertaining in his manic state. However he seems to be mostly depressive.
