Heh. Don’t know if this is old news, but Sarah Palin responded to John Kerry.

Why doesn’t she have the common sense to respond with maturity? A glib little joke like that just legitimizes Kerry’s stupid comment.

It’s worse than that. According to the link, she mocked Kerry in Kosovo.

“He looked quite frustrated and he looked so sad,” she told the troops in comments later posted on YouTube. “I just wanted to reach out to the TV and say: ‘John Kerry, why the long face?’ ”

It is…inappropriate…for a governor to deride a sitting Senator to an audience of active-duty American military—on foreign soil, yet! That Kerry started the mudslinging is irrelevant.

I would like to like Palin, but I remember how Bushes 41 & 43, Dan Quayle, and the DeLay/Lott GOP lost my support via small disappointment after small disappointment. Maybe this time will be different, but I don’t count on it.
