Not to mention that a lot of abuse and neglect goes on in married couples w/ kids too. Like that Hedda Nesbaum from the 80’s. What if the father is abusive? Two wrongs don’t make a right.

All the statistics, re education, crime, etc., run against the child of the single parent. Although there are exceptions to every rule, good and bad, the family is still the best place to raise kids. Not the state, the family.
