I have no issue with shifting away from oil.

It’s doing it before there is an alternative that I have an issue with.

And also -
It’s doing it, needlessly, in such a way that thousands of people are suddenly without employment, the jobs they’ve worked and trained in for years, with no lead time, no time to seek new employment or seek training for new employment.

The problem reine, is the majority of people are willing to sacrifice smaller groups to guarantee the stability of the majority.
