Being photogenic is a requirement for winning the Presidency in this day and age. I think it’s going to get worse as the MTV/playstation generation gets old enough to vote.

Looking back at former presidents, a lot of them wouldn’t have had a chance getting the nomination, let alone elected. Poor old Abe wouldn’t have made it for sure.
