the talk of the week — at least in certain circles in Washington, New York and London — has been that President Obama is failing in his role as leader of the free world.

That’s because he is NOT a leader. Nothing he did or said was from a leadership standpoint. His much vaunted “oratory skills” were laced with weak language - everything from generalized phrases (“We can meet any challenge if we are together”) to projection of American mediocrity.
