Morning real, I missed the O speach thread too so I was checking out comments just now. Check the #1 comment from buzz in the top 10.

I’ve noticed a trend on both right and left blogs. When the guy from the other side makes a statement, the majority on the other side starts slamming each and every part of it. One comment feeds on another, and with all the like minded opinions, a since of the rightness of you opinion sets in.
If a conservative speaks up on a leftie blogs, or a leftie on a conservative blog, he does so at his own peril. He’s spoiling the fun of all the mutual reinforcement of the hatred for the other guy, and is better off just letting the other side vent in peace. The risk for both sides is a unrestrained echo chamber can run out of control and see disagreement turn into a true derangement.
I updinged Cato for a least trying to get his opinion out, even if it was unwelcome, I saw no problem with some of him logic.
