But, like lawhawk said upthread, he was.

Of course NR isn’t the whole right wing. But it is certainly a downhill slide from there to the august pages of WND.

Sorry, but whatever stand Buckley took has long since been erased. Buchanan’s articles are published at every major conservative news site, he has a permanent slot on MSNBC, and is a frequent guest on Fox News, where Sean Hannity refers to him as “the great Patrick J. Buchanan.”

He is definitely NOT any kind of pariah.
