There is a place for debate, but what sometimes passes for debate in this matter is an exercise aimed at ridiculing and lambasting Christians and what they believe, and it serves no useful purpose.

There are some commenters that on occasion try to do what you are saying, or get close to it sometimes.
But the overall tone of the debate (and LGF in general) is NOT ridicule of Christians.
