I suppose we all should have seen this coming. The Republicans in the House haven’t had their hands on the wheel for four years. You can store up a whole lotta crazy in four years. They have a backlog of goofy shit like this to get through. Maybe once they do, they’ll settle down and try to get serious.

The last time they got serious they made bankruptcy harder for the average working American and screwed around with overtime labor laws. Then there was the usual handouts to the big oil companies hidden underneath that massive transportation bill they passed several years ago. I suppose at this point, and considering the extremist elements of the Teabaggers, they’ll probably propose bringing back debtors prison.
