Sarah Palin and Joe Biden were on a fishing trip with the media on fine day, as a publicity stunt. It was rather windy out, and a stray gust pulled the cap from Biden’s head and pitched it into the water. Biden tried to reach for it, first with his hand, then with his fishing pole, then he cast his line to try to hook it. Eventually Palin got tired of the display, stepped out of the boat, walked across the water and picked it up. Everyone was stunned. The next day the headlines came out:

“Gov. Sarah Palin Can’t Swim.”
