Barney Frank got my vote but maybe it should’ve been the MSM. I mean, when you think about it, he did get away almost completely untouched. Here he was, in charge of oversight of Fannie and Freddie, probably the two most heavily regulated banking organizations in the country, they go belly-up and what gets the blame? Lack of regulation. And Frank actually gets away with the claim that it’s absurd to hold him responsible in any way. So, he doesn’t do his job of regulating them, they get in trouble, and the answer is to add regulation and oversight of the type he didn’t do in the first place.
