again you are not following…why do you persist?…in my scenario the pirates will mostly be dead or scattered a year from now…I have never posted to appease them until this one situation….they can be liquidated…I don’t give a shit if we catch them…just kill them in the water or in their villages…you have skewed my point of view…people keep ragging on me that it will go on and on and never said such a thing

You have provided no certain means by which your fantasy scenario could be reified, and these particular pirates not profit from their piracy. If it is true that they won’t release the guy until after they receive their ransom and have fled to safety, and instead of making an example of these bastards that all their friends will remember and heed, we just compliantly pay the ransom and wait with our thumbs up our rectums for the guy’s release, then they have won and we have lost, and they and all of their greedy violent friends will just keep defeating us and cashing in at our expense again and again and again.

And lives will be lost along the way.
