LOL…

Back when I was a wee freshman in the Alumni Memorial Residences at JHU, we had a big, and I mean Baltimore - whatchu lookin at suckah - BIG roach go striding along the wall of the hallway. It was about 4-41/2” without the feelers.

One of the intrepid roach hunters went to his room and got an aerosol can and a lighter, determined to flambe the roach.

Well as he snuck up on it - he discovered it had wings. It bounced off his head, and the guy went screaming down the hall like a total sissy.

The roach, unperturbed continued in the opposite direction.

There was an elderly Chinese man in the building I grew up in, who flatly refused to let the cockroach-spraying people in. He trapped them himself, in these elaborate little bamboo traps. Kept records too. Thought the Rose Man stuff was poison, and wouldn’t have it in his apartment.
