when I go to a Japanese restaurant staffed by Japanese people who maybe don’t speak English, I like a menu with pictures. I point to what I want, they get my order right, and everybody’s happy.

Yeah, there’s that, and then there are the places that have the food displayed in artful plastic in the front window, so you know what you’re getting.
