That may be a red herring…I’ve seen reports of studies suggesting waste/fraud expenses may be as low as 3%…sure we’ve seen the news stories…if it were so common, it wouldn’t be news.

It may well be a red herring. But massive waste is what the Administration is claiming, and it’s betting the ranch on the notion that cleaning up all that waste will be sufficient to expand the program to cover the entire nation, or some significant chunk of it. If this is bogus, then the promise of revenue neutrality swirls straight down the drain, and we’re left either with increased taxes or significantly higher deficits.
