Where is frois grois banned anyways? All over the US? And was it banned because it’s nutrionally bad or because it’s an animal welfare issue? Most anti-frois grois campaigns I’ve ever come across don’t have anything to do with it’s nutritional value but because of how it’s produced…which is pretty disgusting..

There are a few places like Spain that have natural Frois Grois but it’s a seasonal thing. Ducks and geese will naturally gorge themselves in the fall in orchards as an instinct to get through the winter. the fatty liver is supposedly comparable to the force fed stuff.
