Remember that huge gun battle in Southern California a few years ago in which the bad guys (bank robbers?) had Kevlar vests and better weapons than the police?

I can understand why the polce would look at you funny ‘cause usually needing a vest means you’re planning on either shooting them or getting into a battle with someone else. Maybe I’m wrong.
