it is a nice haircut. i found a locally owned shop…sat down, and she said “would you like a beer”? nicer words have hardly been uttered in a hair cuttery.

to make sure that i heard her correctly, i asked if she meant that i could order one during the haircut. she said no, ordering was not necessary; the price of the haircut included one beer.

needless to say, i’m now a customer for life.

(she also did a great job cutting, so apparently they aren’t sipping beers themselves while they’re not cutting hair…although in retrospect, i probably should have made more certain of that fact before i let her pull out the straight razor…)

A barber shop with a liquor license? COOL!

(umm, unless, of course, they don’t HAVE a license, in which case ,, shhhhhh!!!!!!))
