During the 1st Gulf War I had a female friend, my best friends sister, who was a CO stationed in SA. After a month of being treated like a 2nd class citizen by her saudi counterparts she finally snapped when one of their religious police smacked her in the back of the leg with a stick because she was wearing pants that stopped short of her ankles while she was out in public, off duty. She promptly busted him in his mouth. She was relived of duty and sent home, almost cost her her career.

You know, with an attitude like that she won’t make a very good Dhimmi.

Good Morning Lizards. Thursday night my 56 inch HDTV died. I’m hosting a Superbowl party for about 40 folks…fortunately I bought an extended warranty and they came out yesterday and fixed it! Back on schedule! I’m not usually a fan of the extended warranties, but it paid for itself in this case.
