The protesters have also taken to carrying Koran’s when they go into the streets to protest. The idea is to demonstrate how the regime is ant-Islamic: the corruption, the oppression & the brutality. This tactic by the pro-democracy activists has gone a long was to delegitimize the regime.

Have you read anything to indicate that the protesters are willing to:
a) end support of Hamas and Hezbollah;
b) stop meddling in Iraq;
c) stop the Irani nuke program; or,
d) recognize Israel?
Just wondering, because I haven’t.
