In my opinion, Pope Benedict should have revoked his decision to reinstate this guy immediately after learning of his ugly views. It wouldn’t have been an issue if this had happened.

And I have to say, I don’t believe the excuse that he didn’t know. The order to which Williamson belongs has never made any secret of its extremist beliefs or its antisemitism.
