You informed me not so long ago, you voted for him, and also worked in a capacity to help get him elected.

Your remarks in #777 are sleight of hand. To simply dismiss his past motivations, and actions as happenstance, seems a little disingenuous. I am sure you must have some inclination as to some of his credentials cited as boosting his resume, let alone his justification for presidential qualification.

The New Republic, (yes, that bastion of hard right political dogma) even looked it up for all of us.

I have taken some time off, managed 2 baseball teams, and become more of a reader than a poster lately.

I like the divergent opinion, don’t get me wrong. But something tells me either you are aware of his background, and past relationships, or you were so enthralled by his hope and change message, the bloom is off the rose now.
