Right now, there are Obama economists preaching the gospel of “positive psychology”, i.e., the economy will get better if people believe it’s getting better. There’s some truth in that, but not enough to counter bad economic and spending decisions by the Administration, including the auto bailouts, and the corruption of the bankruptcy system to put the workers in charge of the companies. That’s good socialism (labor controlling the means of production, but it’s not good management.)
