Charles, for some reason, when I tried to edit my comment in the last thread, I got this:

That was as far right as I could shift the screen. Chrome on Android. I did try reloading the page.

Sometimes my Chrome does something wacky (this morning it was suddenly impossible to input text). Since closing and restarting Chrome has always fixed such problems, I assume it’s run out of memory. Might work for you (sometimes I’ve had to restart the ipad).
