I agree. But the journalist who put together these articles have no clue. They write these articles and it’s full of shit.

(I’m keeping this simple) A router is an automatic switchboard, it’s a computer, and if you know what you are doing, you can sit down, write software that will do all sorts of things with the data that is passing through that router.

All routers come with monitoring software. You can block IP’s, reroute data, drop data, look at it, do all kinds of things to it.

Why doesn’t it happen al the time, because the idea of the industry is to LET info get to where it needs to, that’s what sells, the flow of data.

But if a country, that controls the flow, wants to fiddle with it, then they can.
