Still, if John Boener is really clever he can turn this pandering to the GOP’s advantage. I’d suggest a counteroffer, one that Obama won’t like very much but is designed to be humane. Stake out a good position and then force Obama to negotiate. If he insists on further pandering, he’ll look like a posturing asshole.

I doubt Boener can find a “humane” counter offer that he can make in good faith of his party supporting and Obama wouldn’t like to take.

Don’t forget Dark this is the party that demanded we build a moat between the USA and Mexico and fill it with alligators….
