Technically, it’s his free speech right, but would not be wise to support regulating religious clothing by singling out just one faith and giving Amish, Jews and others a pass.

The point was not to get into a Constitutional debate. The point was to show how a world leader need not be constrained by spineless diplo-talk on issues of importance. Exhibit A - Sarkozy. Exhibit B - Obama.
