Yeah….Maybe Khamenei really backed himself into a corner when he made that claim that the vote for Ahmadinejad was a kind of “divine” decree…or endorsed by Allah (as a “religious” leader making such a statement, how can he now back down? say, “oops?” it calls into question his religious authority..)
