Thanks for the ijis link. I’m not surprised with the larger ice extent numbers this year. I don’t know the influence of La Nina/El Nino on the arctic, but it makes some sense to me that there should be some. Still, the last 3 years all have lower minimum ices than the preceding 5. Something to keep watching, clearly.
