Nor (and this isn’t directed at you, Cato) do I understand why a totally unverifiable comment on a SSPX website purporting to be from a Jew who supposedly had relatives that were saved by Lefebvre’s father merits the slightest consideration here. Especially given that this individual characterizes the SSPX as “a very tolerant group,” which should have shot his credibility to shit right off the bat.

Charles has nailed this. It’s interesting to watch all the attempts at justification and obfuscation going on here in response. But this happens to be an issue I undoubtedly have too much of an emotional investment in. So in the interest of my sanity, I’m leaving it (or at least this thread, permanently) here.
