i burned the hell out of my good hand out at Ft Irwin on an ATWSS cartridge.

the military, in it’s infinite wisdom, gave me no pain meds at all, even when they debrieded the wound the next day…..

it was like a bad western movie: all i could do was bite down on a rag while two big dudes held me down, and another held my arm for the doc.

Holy shit! nothing hurts worse than a bad burn… while better half was in the hospital they had him on dilaudid, but sent him with just lortab…. he has naked bone sticking out the end of his finger….yeesh

and I totally agree about gov’t healthcare…. too many horror stories there
