What about Burma? what about China? Install sophisticated monitoring systems in countries with known abuses of civil liberties, is that really OK? Here’s the BBC article (written by their technology correspondent)…note that the article states: “Asked by the BBC about the firm’s attitude to doing business in Iran, Nokia Siemens said: “We do have a choice about doing business there…” Note also, “The firm says it does not supply the system to China or to Burma.” hmmm…why not then?
