Bush was a bad president, but he did respect the office and the constitution (in that odd way conservatives have) and I never believed he’d try to cancel the election.

Bush was probably the last Republican president who will be remembered as not completely insane. Because after Trump they’re all going to try to emulate him.

Not if he loses. He will be memory holed if he loses. Suddenly, like Nixon who won 60% of the vote in 1972, you won’t be able to find anyone who actually voted for him, either time.
