As a student of history, I’ve always been very skeptical of any politician with a cult of personality. Just look at the leaders throughout history with such a cult, all of them dictators and the like.

My skepticism about Obama grew the more I learned about him, but it’s this mad, blind cult of Obama that really concerns me. As long as so many people are under his spell it’s going to be hard to get people to notice what he’s really all about.

Has there ever been a politician in the US with such a strong cult of personality? I can’t think of one.
